Tom Larimer is an award-winning, visionary architect with extensive expertise in commercial retail development, mixed-use projects, urban planning, and sports and entertainment venue design. His work has earned widespread recognition, including the PCBC "Gold Nugget Award for Outstanding Retail Project" for Village Walk at EastLake, as well as "Best Ballpark Renovation" awards from Ballpark Digest for Recreation Ballpark (2009) and Lake Elsinore Diamond (2017). Tom’s design for Recreation Ballpark was also featured in 101 Baseball Places to See Before You Strike Out by Josh Pahighian (2008, Lyon’s Press) and ESPN.com’s "Top 10 Best Seats in Minor League Baseball" (2008).
A graduate of the University of Notre Dame, Tom is a licensed architect and LEED Accredited Professional. As President of Larimer Design, he plays an active role in his community, serving on several influential boards, including the City of San Diego Historical Resources Board, the San Diego Chapter of the Urban Land Institute, Rotary International, and the Notre Dame Clubs of Atlanta and San Diego.
In his spare time, Tom gives back through volunteerism, mentoring, and coaching with organizations such as the Boy Scouts of America, Little League Baseball, and Nativity Prep Academy charter school.
