This extensive remodel of a two-story single-family residence is located in San Diego’s prestigious Mission Hills neighborhood. The home was taken down to the studs and rebuilt to include a formal street-level entrance, living room, and renovated master suite and secondary bedrooms on the ground level. An open, U-shaped staircase leads guests to the second-floor great room, which boasts a commanding 180-degree view of San Diego Bay, the San Diego Airport, and Mission Bay. The roof was raised approximately 18 inches to create more volume on the second floor.
